Education is essential to the professionalism of the community association manager. Association Management, Inc. (AMI) is dedicated to professionalism and, to further enhance the knowledge, skill and ability of individual managers.
Every month AMI conducts an ongoing educational seminar series called AMI College. The seminar covers topics regarding specific aspects of community association management. AMI’s community managers are required to attend these seminars but registration is open to every employee and all are encouraged to attend.
The seminars are presented by Mr. David Regenbaum, CO Founder, Chairman and CEO of Association Management, Inc. - Assessment Collection The right to assess is a defining element of all Community Associations. Without the right to assess, an Association is a Civic Club not a Community Association. The Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions ("CC&Rs") of all Community Associations contain provisions authorizing the Association to levy and collect assessments and imposes an obligation on Owners to pay assessments. The language in individual CC&Rs may vary, but the provision is consistent in its intent – to provide the Association with the necessary funds to fulfill its obligations
