David Regenbaum / CO Founder, Chairman / CEO
In 1979, as a recognized expert in real estate and community association law in South Africa, David Regenbaum retired from the law firm he had founded, moved to Houston, and founded Association Management, Inc. (AMI). His objective was for AMI to provide a full range of professional management services to associations and to set a new standard for exemplary service.
Under David´s leadership, AMI has become the leading association management company in Houston, and continues to innovate, develop, and set new standards for the industry. Many of David´s innovative management philosophies and practices have been adopted by community association managers nationwide.
David has served in numerous capacities in the Community Associations Institute (CAI), including President of CAI National, Chairman of the Education Council, and Dean of the Management Practices faculty. He has served on several committees including the Budget Finance committee, and the Chief Executive Officers of the Management Companies committee. He has also served as faculty in CAI´s Professional Management Development program for courses covering topics including law, financial management, insurance, and management office management. Additionally, David was elected a Director of the Community Associations Institute´s Research Foundation.
In 1985, David was inducted into CAI´s Hall of Fame. CAI has also awarded him the President´s Award for Outstanding Leadership and the Council "Chairman of the Year" award. He has served as President of the Greater Houston Chapter of CAI and received the Chapter´s distinguished service award for outstanding leadership and service.
Glenda Regenbaum / CO-Founder, President/COO
Glenda Regenbaum is the co-founder of AMI. She has extensive experience in managing community associations and is involved in all operations of the company. She is responsible for maintaining and continually improving AMI´s high quality service in all areas of the company, and she manages the Multi-Family division.
Glenda attained her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation in 1991. She has been active with the Community Association Institute on a national level including chairing the Management Company CEO Committee.
Glenda held the position of Executive Director of Holocaust Museum Houston for three and a half years and is delighted to be back at AMI. Prior to moving to Houston, Glenda was CEO of two companies in South Africa. She was educated in South Africa and Europe.
Ruth Beegles / Corporate Controller
Ruth joined AMI in December 2008 as the company's Corporate Controller. She brings with her over 23 years of Accounting and Financial Reporting experience in several industries. The last 6 years were spent with a division of one of the top ten national home builders.
Ruth has held her Certified Public Accountant license since 1996. She also holds an MBA with a major in Accounting from Cleveland State University in Ohio.
Mona Abousteit / Director, Financial Services
Mona joined AMI as a portfolio bookkeeper in 1997. She brings years of extensive business experience combined with professional commitment, solid work ethics and proven leadership.
Mona demonstrated her ability to succeed as a bookkeeper by fulfilling all her responsibilities, which included all accounting aspects for some of the most prestigious properties in Houston.
Due to her outstanding performance and commitment to excellence, Mona was promoted to the Director of Financial Services position in October of 2001. Mona´s responsibilities include: training and assisting bookkeepers and administrators with financial matters and problem solving, monthly review of approximately 160 financial statements for accuracy and proper reporting procedures, handling calls when other accountants are absent, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of 18 accountants with the assistance of the Corporate Accountant.
Mona is a graduate of Cairo University and has a teenage daughter.
Georgene Buenger / Director, Human Resources
Georgene brings with her over 6 years experience in the Human Resources and Payroll field. Georgene is currently working on getting her PHR and SPHR certifications.
She manages 150 employees including two satellite offices and offsite employees in the Houston area.
Boaz Arch / Director, Technology
Boaz Arch has been with AMI since 1992. As the Technology Director, Mr. Arch oversees AMI's Internal Network Infrastructure, as well as the management of the AMI Technology Department. AMI's existing infrastructure consists of 5 locations (AMI Houston, AMI Woodlands, AMI Kingwood, AMI Pearland, and AMI Austin) connected via a Layer-2 Network. The Technology Department currently manages 14 servers (Windows & Linux), 120+ Desktops and Thin Clients, and 25+ onsite locations. Mr. Arch also manages AMI's state of the art proprietary Service Management Software (MaxTrac 2.0), the industry's acclaimed full accounting system (Jenark), AMI Resource Center (Cisco UCCX system), (AMI Management Tools (AMI Tools), Time Management System (Corporate Solutions) and Cisco IP phone technology. Through VPN, Terminal Services and Internet Web Applications, AMI provides real-time access to its systems 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Tresa R. Little / Director, Commercial
Tresa is the director for the AMI team that specializes in Commercial Associations. She works closely with the Boards and Owners of commercial and master planned associations.
Tresa joined AMI in 1994, after managing and supervising a portfolio of office buildings, retail shopping centers, residential properties, and commercial and residential owner's associations.
Tresa has taught classes in property management for industry seminars and has written articles for trade publications, discussing different phases of management.
She has earned the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management as well as earning the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) from Community Associations Institute. Tresa is a real estate broker with the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Syd Talley / Director, Developer Services
Syd has been in the Association Management field since 1989 and joined the AMI management team in 2002. Syd Talley has been responsible for the management of both commercial and residential associations and is presently the Director of AMI’s Developer services which includes Architectural Review of new custom and production construction on behalf of the Developer Syd also supervises the management team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Developer controlled associations.
Prior to joining AMI, Syd worked for various Houston Home Builders in the Houston home building industry and held positions of Construction and Project Management.
He currently holds the Association Management Specialist Designation (AMS) and has completed the Professional Management Development Program in 1991 offered by the Community Association Institute.

Emma Deatherage, PCAM / Director, Pearland
Emma Deatherage has managed single family, master-planned, multi-family, commercial and resort communities. At AMI, she has also worked with high-rise communities.
Prior to AMI, Deatherage spent over 14 years in management of homeowner associations and 5 years in commercial management. She has earned the designation of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) from Community Associations Institute.
Camille Belcher, PCAM® / Director, Austin
Mrs. Belcher has 15 years experience in the Homeowner Association management industry, specializing in condominium management. Her career began managing a 183-unit prestigious high-rise in Austin.
She was designated Professional Community Association Manager in 1999, served 7 years as part-time Executive Director for the CAI-Austin Chapter, and for 4 years has been an active member of the Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association, encouraging the downtown Austin residential lifestyle.
In 2004, after earning her management degree in the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, she began building a portfolio that included sixteen urban developments. Her desire was to build a specialized, service-oriented community association management company.
Mrs. Belcher has now joined AMI to open their Austin branch office. As one of only two Professional Community Association Managers in Austin, she will continue her goal of providing outstanding customer service to community associations at AMI-Austin.
Larry Quick / Director, The Woodlands
Larry Quick is a veteran with AMI having managed resort, single family, town home, and condominium associations prior to his appointment as Director of the Woodlands Office. He leads 10 very stable management teams serving single family and resort communities throughout the Woodlands and areas north and west, including Magnolia, Lake Conroe and Lake Livingston areas.
Prior to joining AMI, he spent over 20 years in facilities management running a large college campus.
Ray Saillant / Director, Highrise
Ray Saillant originally joined AMI in 2004 as a portfolio manager supporting twelve high rise condominiums. After returning from the hotel industry, Ray was appointed as the Director of the High Rise Division in June 2008 and is now overseeing the High Rise Team of four Community Managers with the management of a total of 32 high rise properties in and around Houston.
With an education in Marketing and Advertising from Indiana University, Ray has accumulated 23 years of experience in business development and operations support in the hospitality field primarily focused on full service and premier brand hotels throughout the Midwest and Texas. His extensive background in customer service and staff management makes Ray a tremendous asset to the AMI team.
Richard Lowstetter / Director, Single Family
Richard Lowstetter joined the AMI team in August of 2007 as a Community Manager in our Single Family Division. During the last two years Richard has worked closely with the Homeowner Association Boards, developed excellent relationships with the Homeowners, Vendors and the Board of Directors. He also was named Community Manager of the year for 2008, and for all of these accomplishments he was named Director of Single Family Communities in August of 2009.
Prior to coming to AMI, Richard spent 30 years in the Real Estate Industry selling, building and managing several New Home communities.
Juan Galvan / Director, Multi-Family Division
After being discharged from the United States Navy, Juan Galvan pursued a career as a financial planner. In 2007 he joined Association Management, Inc. as a Community Manager in the Multi-Family division. After working in the Houston office for two years he requested a transfer to our AMI - The Woodlands office to be in closer proximity to his home as there was a new baby in his family. Through his hard work and dedication, Juan quickly gained the respect of the Boards of the Associations he served as well as of his colleagues. Juan was promoted to the position of Director of the Multi-Family Division in September 2010. He leads a team of 3 community managers, 2 service specialists, and 5 financial specialists who serve approximately 40 Associations.
Juan's experience in the financial industry and in community management is of great benefit to AMI's Multi-Family Division.
