    The right to assess is a defining element of all Community Associations. Without the right to assess, an Association is a Civic Club not a Community Association. The Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (“CC&Rs”) of all Community Associations contain provisions authorizing the Association to levy and collect assessments and imposes an obligation on Owners to pay assessments. The language in individual CC&Rs may vary, but the provision is consistent in its intent – to provide the Association with the necessary funds to fulfill its obligations.   • AMI Partners with Elves & More with Bike Helmets for the Kids

    • Beginning in November of 2011 and through the Christmas season, Association Management, Inc. and Elves & More partnered up to help make this Christmas a little better for 5,000 impoverished children by providing bike helmets. This was a great experience, as AMI employees also took a road trip to Reliant Stadium to help assemble bikes for the kids.
    Elves & More is dedicated to “changing lives-one bike at a time!” They focus on at-risk children living in Greater Houston, an eight-county area in which 330,000 children live in poverty.
